Na konci roku 2006 měla na kanálu Sky One premiéru filmová adaptace knihy Otec prasátek.
Ilustrovaný scénář k filmu vyšel knižně jako Terry Pratchett's Hogfather: The Illustrated Screenplay.
V roce 2007 získal tento film ocenění best multi-channel programme na Broadcasting Press Guild 33rd Annual Television and Radio Awards.
O něco později ve stejném roce získal cenu BAFTA za vizuální efekty.
